This is looking fantastic and it "only’ cost $86M which is nothing on a big, special effects-heavy film.
Perhaps “the robots are taking over” is a little over-played but it also taps into the zeitgeist, so feels timely.
I don’t like watching trailers but from what I saw from the 1st trailer I’m very hopeful for this movie.
Always a bad sign when across two trailers they’ve retold the entire film.
Unfortunately he’s also not the reason Rogue One was any good. It was the Tony Gilroy show.
Gorgeous film that is probably eyerolling bad narratively. Hope for the best but Gareth Edward’s storytelling-to-VFX ratio is historically not great.
