This was briefly mentioned during the 25th anniversary stream – they apologized to an astronaut for accusing them of eating a tomato.
I bet he did eat the tomato, and just asked the next crew to smuggle a rotten tomato up there.

What movie is this from?
It’s John Carpenters cult classic sci-fi parody “Dark Star” from 1974. Pretty weird overall but at times hillarious. Not sure if I’d recommend to watch it. If you’ll be able to find it that is.
