At what age should driving be restricted? Remember that our cars are the fastest and heaviest they ever been.

I think at the minimum, there should be a regular proficiency test required to be able to drive. Past that, this incident had nothing to do with the size or speed of the vehicle, so that’s irrelevant to this particular conversation. I absolutely think it’s asinine the size of vehicle allowed on the road, but days cars have been around for a long time. Muscle cars have been around for at least 70 years and those things weighed way more than most modern sedans. It’s more about the size of the vehicles than the size and speed, although those do still play a smaller factor in casual.
Getting hit by a lifted F150 at 15 mph is probably more lethal than most cars at double the speed. Yea both suck, but the truck is more likely to cause injuries directly to the head since it’s inline with the front of the truck where a car is more likely to just maim a person but give them better odds at living.

should the same rules apply for voting?
Not if that person is still paying taxes. Taxation without representation is one of the big founding points of the US.
But what about under 18s that can’t vote but are taxes on their income? IMO, they shouldn’t be paying taxes. Taxation should only apply to those that can vote. I don’t think lower the voter age is probably the right thing. I remember being under 18, and I was an idiot and so were most of my peers in respect to the politics.
And the Tesla just let it happen.
