That headline confused me, I thought he somehow became father of an insane number of children before coming back to the US
The headline should read “US Citizen deported to Mexico by ICE returns after producing proof of US citizenship.”
The important subtext here is that being a citizen won’t save you from being deported from your own country under trump’s America. This example is proof-positive.
Also seemingly, the government doesn’t keep copies of any records.
Birth certs are state level, feds don’t keep them.

ICE doesn’t want to do the work, they just want to sweep and purge.

Why the fuck is there even a case?! He proved he’s a natural born citizen! ICE fucked up (yet again!). No court case for him to exonerate himself is needed. The only thing needed is that the fucking clowns who did this be fired and barred from ever working for the federal government again. Hell, they should be the ones locked away, if anything.
I hope he sues the feds for a boatload in damages.
These idiots are just wasting everyone’s time, money, and energy. And with the added bonus of traumatizing (and in some cases murdering) a bunch of innocent people.

I just read about these dudes they sent straight to prison in some african country they had never been to, rush job on a private plane. They are spending a fucking fortune, then paying these dictators to keep people in prison for life without charge.
Like, if we decide to deport the illegals, we can at least do it in a decent way. This does not represent how the majority feels people should be treated.

How so? I heard they were right wing. But back in the day, I read about Israel in them, they were honest. In explaining Israel segregating palestinians into what amounts to ghettos.
They’re a tabloid and do not have journalistic integrity. I can’t say many outlets do now, but they absolutely do not.
Someone else said something similar. I don’t doubt they went to shit. But even when I read truthful information on Israel circa 2000, I think they were known to be conservative-ish, I think, but that was different than it is today, to be a conservative.
Yeah from what I could find, historically they were reliable news, but now they’re just sensationalist rage bait bullshit machine.
There are precious few reputable publications left. A number still in periodicals, but for daily news we are fucked. Nothing locally, just the guardian and reuters, or the ap, and reuters is letting a little more bias creep in, they don’t seem to care for the socialists for instance.
But fuck, there is nothing left, almost nothing. A handful of periodicals, and some limey daily news orgs.
And it is fast getting worse too. The law will soon be further weaponized against news orgs too.
Semafor seems alright, relatively new on the block but great bias scores and high accuracy, global outlet on inception too

What else we need, off subject a bit, is search engines that deliver what we are asking for. in 2021 they stopped. Many previously easy to find articles, no longer available, even with exact information. Not a one off it’s all sorts of stuff they are maximizing revenue in an illegal trust led by the big one there but this is all another story.
How hard would it be for us to make an open source search engine? Because without that, nothing else matters, because the bad guys will win. Melodramatic sounding or not, I believe that to be the truth.
