Its like this every game. “Oh look, we lose in the last 2 minutes”
I think I’ve seen this one before.

Who can even consider a stupid regular season loss like this, while the team completely sucks, as something impactful?

The double doink is literally taking up the rear quarter of my brain every day. It’s ruined me… 😂

2010 was marked by the Bears losing their final regular season game to the Packers, who wouldn’t have made the playoffs without a win. The Bears then proceeded to lose to the Packers in NFC Championship game, while the Packers won the Super Bowl.

Double doink was exceptionally bad, because it wasn’t like it was a very difficult field goal to make and the team was better than that. People like to say it wasn’t Parkey, but that miniature penis of a man refused to practice at Soldier Field because of traffic.

That said, how about watching your team in 06 lose the Super Bowl to Peyton Manning after watching Hester return the opening kickoff?

At least in 2001, the team wasn’t expected to be great or anything.

I had blocked out how terrible 2010 was. That explains a lot about how numb I was to the double doing when it happened

Fields is so good and talented but also really, really bad sometimes. The bomb when all they needed was first down to essentially close out the game…then a strip sack from the front side when maybe all they had was a prayer.

The defense decided they didn’t need to play the last 5 minutes of the game.

It was just sad at the end.

How is this loss painful? The team isn’t going to make the playoffs and isn’t playing for anything. Recency bias. Double doink. Super Bowl loss. Any playoffs loss or loss that prevented the Bears from making the playoffs. All worse.

We have the panthers pick for a reason. Winning games will do a greater service for this team’s future than tanking for a slightly better draft pick. Tanking is not always the answer which this fanbase clearly can’t understand for some reason

It’s honestly so painful to see the talent we have and to see this coaching staff piss it away. We have at least a .500 roster with semi competent coaching.

This is nothing compared to the all-time collapse in Green Bay in recent memory. I was at that game and giddy during halftime.

Lmao really showing the age of the average fan if this is your worst loss of your life. 2010 NFC Championship was 1000000x worse.

I’ve seen the Bears take a lead with 17 seconds left and still give up two passes in 16 seconds for a game losing FG.

2010 NFC game was a struggle to watch. 2006 Super Bowl was painful. Double doink. So many other 4th quarter losses.

This is honestly just another one on the long list.

As someone who has been a fan for over 30 years… there have been worse.

    I still think double doink was the worse loss, had we won that we would have gone to the SB and probably won;
