Headline is a bit optimistic given they broke car traffic out into separate categories, but the progress is still news worthy.
It’s also just “City of London” which is a small historic section within London. I wonder how representative it is of the greater London area?
This is very important context, the article is basically non-news
I wouldn’t go as far as saying it’s non-news, “City of London” contains a very large number of offices, bars, shops, and restaurants. A large proportion of people living in Greater London work in or travel through City of London nearly every day.
It’s definitely noteworthy, but also definitely just one part of the picture.
How much you wanna bet Forbes doesn’t know what the difference is?
15% of all traffic are Taxis, wow.
Makes sense, no one owns a car in London. Too much traffic. /s
One of the first things I had to learn when I moved to London, inside zone 3, tube is always faster than Uber. There is just way too much traffic for a car to be worthwhile, glad to see plenty of others agree.
