Is this the same one that they ‘lost’ and did they lose him because he was fleeing to avoid prosecution?

Accusations are one thing, evidence is another. It’s not unreasonable to think that a corrupt person might have evidence of corruption in another person; it’s also not unreasonable to think that a corrupt person might make unfounded accusations of corruption against another person.
