Not trading Henry is frankly baffling IMO and I’m a Henry truther.

The only logical conclusion I can think of is the titans think they remain competitive, but then the Eagles trade makes less sense.

I think it’s exclusively because they’re embarrassed how much better Brown looks in Philly. Why risk two former Titans winning MVP awards on a weekly basis while your QB debate is between Tanne and Mayohomes, fast way to get Vrabel fired.

Honestly glad we didn’t. Mitchell looks very promising and we can use that pick to fill a spot of need like a guard or tackle. I’m assuming the pick was a second or third so we can hopefully get a nice player there.

In situations like these I typically choose to blame the Falcons. If those dirty birds and rowdy ruffians hadn’t let Will Levis throw for like a quadrillion yards and 4 TDs Henry is in Baltimore right now, binging The Wire to learn more about his cozy new home.

I really want Henry to get the Larry Fitz treatment by the team and retire with us. I do not care about the minmax optimization issues our running game will eventually suffer from because of it. Turn him into a Blount/Jamaal Williams scenario and just give him all the goaline runs when he’s 35 lmao, idc

Henry is on the record saying Wendy’s has the best fast food burger.

I’m not saying he’s right or wrong, I’m just pointing out that not everyone is perfect

When I lived in Tuscaloosa one of the main late night food spots just off campus was the 15th street Wendy’s. I was only a year ahead of Derrick and if I remember correctly he and OJ Howard lived pretty close to there so they may have also frequented.

The question comes down to if you’re asking for big 3 fast food burger vs any other chain. Like I had a great Whataburger the other month, but if someone asked me for my favorite fast food burger anywhere i wouldn’t bring that up, more regional than a straight up answer

Do the Ravens really need additional RB. Their running game and RBs aren’t that bad.

Ravens just dropped a bag on Lamar’s head. He’s not playing anywhere else and he’s playing there for a long time. Ownership is gonna want to maximize how long they’re going to be good under him rather than go all in. Cap situation is already gonna be wonky, they’ll need the picks to minimize how much they’re paying not-QB to be in Baltimore.

I whole heartedly believe their running backs would be fringe roster guys on almost any team. Their run game is so well schemed and their oline is amazing.

Mitchell is still unproven and has started the year pretty injured. So he’s a wild card at best.

Gus, statistically, is having a below average year. That could either be wear and tear on him or our new OC doesn’t run the ball and scheme up elite running plays like Roman did. Roman may have been a terrorist for the passing game but he was a savant for the run game.

Hill isn’t a premier back and despite a few nice runs, isn’t anything special. A nice depth piece.

Our running game is also propped up by Lamar running the ball. We’ve always had him be a high percentage of our run but you typically don’t see 30% of your rushing yards in your QB.

Adding in a premier back such as Henry takes a ton of pressure off our pass game and it allows our RB’s more depth and less touches leading to fresher backs. Gus is great for our team but no one is sitting here saying that Gus is in the same category as Henry. (Minus yards per attempt).

Gus, statistically, is having a below average year.

He is on track to set PRs for both running and receiving, and already has more TDs than any other season.

Keaton was pretty injured? He started with a *wink wink* IR because after what he showed in preseason there was no way he would last on the practice squad.

Yards per carry wise it’s a down year, but he’s been killing it recently and he’s a td machine

Mostly just for depth considering after Dobbins injury Gus Edwards is our last proven RB

Though if Keaton Mitchell is for real that will help a lot

Before Keaton showed the world how much of a beast he is, our rb depth was looking putrid. If Gus went down, we’d be relying on Hill, who let’s just say isn’t a fan favorite at this point of the year

Considering they’re already one of the top teams in Super Bowl contention, I think getting Henry would’ve pushed them over the top and likely guaranteed it (as long as Lamar doesn’t get hurt again). Cycling through their good/great RBs, making everyone commit to stopping the run and then Lamar doing his magic through the air would be too much to stop, especially with also having a good defense.

Anyway, get rekt birdie boys lol (jk, I’m still scared of what you have already)
