The Flint prosecution team of the Democratic attorney general — led by Chief Deputy Attorney General Fadwa Hammoud and Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy — said the Flint water cases are now “closed.”

    Were they just waiting for a busy news cycle to just slip this by everyone?

    I mean, this was the obvious result but not the one we deserved.

    I have a feeling we’re going to see a lot more vigilantism over the course of the next couple of decades. If the police and justice system fail to hold the people that poisoned our families accountable, then the people will start to mete out justice themselves.

    All it will take is for the first domino to fall…and the only thing that’s stopping it is the thread, the sliver of hope that our country is going to hold out strong, and that justice will prevail in the end. Results like this, when we know for a fact that there was criminal negligence on MULTIPLE levels…does not help to prevent this.
