Good, Ukraine has enough things killing their populace.
Prohibition never worked in history, not with alcohol, not cannabis, and definitely not with tobacco. Where I live few people still smoke, but that was achieved with education about the risks of tobacco, and a general cultural shift, not by banning tobacco.
the same law is in i think entire EU. the point is to make smoking less attractive to people, making tobacco use lower and so lower burden of pulmonary diseases. it seems to be working
The point is not to ban smoking, but to make it less appealing. This has worked extremely well in Finland, combined with education about the risks.
You are kinda right but at the same time, everyone I knew who used to smoke menthols stopped doing so.

Good move, cigarettes should’ve been made illegal IMO, it ruins lives without health benefits unlike some other substances, I’d take an entire generation without ever exposed to smoking than keeping the junkies happy.
I’m going to go ahead and say this isn’t the best use of their time right now.
An entire nation can do two different things at the same time. And keeping people (somewhat) healthy is even more important now than ever. You need people to be fit for service and want to keep hospital beds for people with more pressing issues than popcorn lung or whatever.
A nation can, but each civil servant can’t. Hospital resources are valuable, but I’m skeptical this will make enough of an impact on them to justify the effort.
It’s their country, though, so that’s just “my 2 cents”.

This is pure bullshit if true. That’s exactly how nicotine addiction work - if no flavored eliquids exist, people would stop vaping, right? Right???
Kind reminder that VG, PG, sweeteners and flavours liquids are legal, cotton, wires and batteries are legal, nicotine itself is legal. 🤷😂
