I didn’t read it that way, but it’s pretty evident where the future is, even for people with cultural myopia.
Yeah and people search “how to move to Canada” at a high rate the day after every US election.
I’ll take stories like these more seriously after real people have actually spent real money. Search trends are not indicative of anything useful.
To be fair, it’s not like the article is saying sales have gone up 20% or anything like that, just that interest has.
There should be a correlation of starch interest and buyer interest.
And prices will jump just as much because of that, because why miss the opportunity to wrangle even more money out of a struggling population.
The weird thing is, now every electric will shoot up in price.
I thought demand was supposed to bring the price down in capitalism? Mmhm.
Only if the supply goes up, and all the companies laser focused on quarterly returns have been pumping the brakes on their EV rollouts…
