So far this morning, I’ve read here that all of the coaches, the GM, the President, the owners, both QBs and most of the players are just crap. Oh, and if the players are any good, we’ll definitely trade them away for nothing and squander the draft picks we do receive anyway.

Also I just realized Kevin Warren = KW, Kenny Williams = KW. Coincidence? I think not

Someone not named George McCaskey running the next GM hiring process is a big plus.

Kevin Warren was mostly hired to get the Bears a new stadium.

I think if you look at a lot of Team Presidents you will find most had roles that werent scouting or whatever you think a team presidents background should be. There is a reason why when the rumors came out of Kevin Warren replacing Ted Phillips it was universally applauded by the Bears. Chiefs President came from ticket sales as well as getting events set up at the stadium. Eagles president was a finance guy with the Eagles. Dolphins presidents main job when he started was to get naming rights for their stadium. Most Team Presidents have similar backgrounds to Warren, if not less background than him. Being with the Rams, Lions, Vikings, and Big Ten Commissioner gives him a lot of connections with a lot of people and that is what is important for the position. As opposed to Ted Phillips, who was team controller, director of finance, and all other positions within Bears and Bears only. At this point Kevin Warren at least deserves the chance to make things right with this organization and is the only glimmer of possible optimism we have that things may be different.

Classic progression of bears fan hope -> hatred. First Eberflus, now Poles. Won’t be long before we all realize KW won’t save us and we all hate him too
