If Taylor plays at the same level he has since he got the job, until week 10, it’ll be interesting to see what they do. Taylor is pretty obviously the better player, but it’s still quite close.
They’re ultimately different circumstances. Tyrod has had a run game to bounce off from (Barkley) and a line that’s had experience (Pugh isn’t Anthony Munoz but he’s still much improved over Matt Peart and Josh Ezeudu there).
The schedule laxing is something else. They aren’t facing the 49ers here. They played a pretty bad Commanders defense and a banged up Bills defense.
I prefer the back up.
