I would love to see valve put more effort into moderation of their platform. Is there somewhere I can go where I can report problem reviews and posts but not have to wade through the vitriol myself? Like a forum that highlights the problematic ones?
Ever since valve moved from friends and family moderation to contracted moderators, they only show up at algorithmically high report areas
Yup, Valve famously do not care to moderate and even fired their moderators for some forums.
Since they aren’t publicly trading then this won’t change as they don’t need to care.
The only way to change things up is to start affecting their bottom line as people move away from the nazi bar that it has been for a long time.
The people who eternally slobber over their boots will say there isn’t any alternative to giving valve even more money to officiate child gambling and targeted harassment.
Yup, sadly a lot of people think corporations are their friends.
