A section of Highway 4 near Port Alberni will be closed in both directions on Feb. 25 while crews complete safety and maintenance work.

Mainroad crews will be working on the highway between Chalet Road and Aspeden Road on Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work includes aligning roadside barriers, removing hazard trees, and maintaining the rockfall fence and catchment area.
