The constitution being ignored and broken should be mentioned every time they cover something where that is the case. Many people don’t seem to graps this stuff.

He is reminding us that it is important to remember that you can completely support your Country, while condemning the MAGAs who have taken over our government and our country by fraud and force.

MAGA is NOT America. They are an illegally occupying force, and they do not represent Constitutional America. It is Patriotic to speak out against MAGA. This man is a HERO.

The constitution is the country. Being citizen is accepting living under it and being a patriot is supporting and defending it. Its why its in the military oath. So yeah we should completely support the country but we don’t need to be worried about pretty colored cloth or songs and dance.

It’s also ok to NOT support your country when they have a history of this exact thing.

If you have been non-white in the last, oh, 200+ years of this countries existence, then you’ve been dealing with this exact thing your entire life. Just white folks generally didn’t care about it until white people started getting killed.

When and if we fix this thing, it needs to be fixed for ALL the people in the US, not just rich white folk. And that’s a tall fucking order from a country that has literally dropped bombs on black people’s homes and forced them to at gunpoint to burn to death in the building.

No, America does NOT stand for those things, only a small percentage of literal criminals believe that, and they’ve used their criminal resources to steal our country from us.

We WILL take it back, and this time we will deal appropriately with those criminals in such a way that they will ALWAYS remember it, and hesitate to do it again.

While I’m proud of how many people in my state stood up to protest, the number of protective laws passed, the number of lawsuits won against the this corrupt regime, we have done so in peace.

People in my state are not being tear gassed, not detained without charge, not being senseless and not outright murdered. Our situation is very much not like Minnesota and I’m very proud of how brave those people are in standing up for all of our rights, against fascism, against terrorism, against abuse of authority

Rich Ruohonen lives in Minnesota, and it’s also where the ICE goons are most concentrated right now, probably because Walz ran against Trump. So it’s fair for him to be speaking about what he’s been seeing in his hometown.

But they’re sending their victims straight to Texas, too fast for the injunctions to get through court. Because there’s gold in them thar detention kkkamps! And because Texas judges are more likely to summarily deport without even reading the cases.

Well, I’m an IT Geek, as you know… and what’s happening in Minnesota is wrong.

If I were a lawyer maybe I could say something about how what’s happening in Minnesota is illegal, which I wish this guy had done. It’s far too common that something is wrong, while still being legal. It’s wrong for grocery stores to throw away perfectly good food rather than donating it to the needy, but they do that and it’s legal. It’s wrong for garment manufacturers to destroy unsold clothing rather than give it away, but that happens too and it’s legal. It’s wrong for the cops to lie in an interrogation to try to get someone to confess, but that’s also somehow legal.

It would be much more powerful to say “As a lawyer, this is not only wrong, it’s completely illegal. Unfortunately Trump controls the justice department, and the Supreme Court can no longer be considered a neutral arbiter of the law. So, it may be that these clearly illegal things will never be punished. But, anybody who has studied the law and is being honest will admit that the Trump admin is breaking the law.”

They’re only TALKING about it? If I recall, two innocent Minnesota citizens have been executed by ICE Apes while they were only “talking about it.” And all the rest of the Minnesota protesters who are just “talking about it,” all know they could be the next one to be executed, and yet they still show up to “talk about it” in protest.

              Take a hike, troll.

And what would you have us do?

There are legal steps still available to us by the Constitution, and we will follow those legal steps. The first is the Midterm elections in November, and the second is the Presidential Election in 2028. We will not surrender the last righteous Constitutional opportunities to follow an illegal strategy that is almost certain to fail, and will cause MAGA to lash back harshly.

We will have the Midterm elections, and see what happens. It is likely they will molest that election before, during, and after, but we have to hang tight, and fight through it. Then in two years, we’ll do it again.

Between those two elections, we will resolve this, one way or another. It may take legislation, protests, and even violence, but we won’t be the same when we come out the other side.

But we have to take the proper steps, and impulsively attacking some well-armed camp, with no real agenda or objective, is stupid and self-destructive. That’s the way MAGAs think, only as far as the next step, with no concept of the reaction or consequences two or more steps down the road.

This is the time for intelligent, strategic thinking, not running headlong into rifle fire.

It’s been more about getting in the face of each roaming ICE gang and getting them to leave without rounding up as many victims as they wanted to. If the Police and National Guard would protect the populace it would help but so far it’s just common individuals
