I can’t seem to control my emotions when thinking about Renee. Her murder was a hate crime. Obviously Alex Pretti’s murder was every bit as tragic, but the way the media has moved on from the death of a queer woman is really disturbing.
The GOP candidate for Minnesota governor reacted to Renee’s death by offering legal counsel to her killer. He reacted to Alex Pretti by dropping out of the governor’s race. What a twisted fucker.
Props to celebrities like Peter who do things like this. It does mean something.
Pretti’s murder is an even clearer execution than Good’s, I think that’s why a lot of the focus (media or otherwise) has shifted away.
It’s clearer because you can see him, the view isn’t blocked by the car. But Renee Good was also clearly summarily executed, and there was likely a dimension of hate crime involved given the murderer’s history.

Ya, that’s all I’m saying.
Every time i see shit like that i think: any day now someone goes like, okay, it was funny for a bit, now an adult has to take over.
But that’s not what’s happening. Some pedo is still shitting his pants in office while always being the dumbest person in every room he goes, even for American standards
Have they moved on? I see people comment this, but at the same time I’m reading articles about that dipshit “comedian” who had his shows canceled for mocking her, of trumps disastrously stupid fucking comments that her parents were trump fans, Peter Dinklage reciting a poem about her, the ride in Iowa in her memory, and even how the DOJ opened a civil rights probe regarding Pretti but not Good.
I think many of us are all too distracted by “top headlines” these days, where it seems thats all that is going on. Articles about Renee Good continue though, and hopefully will continue for a long time. I just hope the articles in the future are about a different reason why we need to remember her.
I didn’t cry, too.
