I guess i can kind of see that, especially if you stopped listening to them around 2005 or so. The songs about working class people, drinking, fighting, and the old country would all appeal to the typical right-wing dipshit with their own idea of what solidarity means.

plus people lack media literacy. i’ve met too many people who think State of Massachusetts is a pump up jam about how great Massachusetts is
