CBS is currently beholden to the Nazi’s and I don’t know if I trust their reporting. It would be in the US’ best interest to show Iranian instability as well as how violent “real” protesting is to try and dissuade domestic ideas.
That said. If Iran is murdering 10k citizens a week, their government won’t last through the end of the month. One can only hope.
20,000 soldiers were killed on the first day of the Somme in WWI which involved literally mowing down rows of soldiers with machine gun. We would see plenty of evidence if this was happening to civilians in cities even without internet.

Knowing that Al Jazeera is Qatari state media, one could want to hear what Qatar wants people to think is happening, and compare that to what western media wants you to think is happening, and compare that to other sources etc etc. Comparing propaganda against trusted and vetted sources exposes lies.

Any unrest in iran right now will be associated with the us and israel, and be ruthlessly crushed for that reason, coming on the heels of israel’s bullshit.
I really, really hope the protesters succeed. Iran has such a glorious history and wonderful people - they deserve so much more. It could retake its place as the shining example of countries in the region, as it was for most of the last 5000 years.
