Hi all. I’m looking for some advice. I’ve recently finished a side project I’m excited about (Self-hosted API for CRUD-ing JSON files on different storage providers (local, S3, minIO, etc). Available here.

However, I have a difficult time reaching engineers that would be interested in it. How do people typically market/share side projects for other developers? Thanks in advance!

    I think in this case I’d build a docker image and publish it to docker hub and then create a “show hacker news” post, personally.

        Me neither! Marketing a project is always the hardest part — it’s easy to get devs to respond with “this project has these defects,” but much more difficult to drive real adoption. I wish you the best of luck nonetheless.

      What a clever idea! I’ve never even thought about posting stuff to docker hub like this
