They claim that was defensive? That didn’t even look intentional. He straight up bumped the trigger after switching hands while fumbling with the lock. He wasn’t even looking at the guy when he shot, and he literally yelled out “oh fuck!” after he shot. Even fucking boy scouts have better trigger discipline than that. This guy shouldn’t have a weapon, let alone a badge.
These are not trained agents, these are paramilitary volunteers.
I’ve seen equally poor trigger discipline from cops too though… even the more established agencies are lowering the bar to pull in recruits.
