The enemy of my enemy is my friend but actually this time it’s also my enemy
“Maxim 29: The enemy of my enemy is my enemy’s enemy. No more. No less.
-The Seventy Maxims of Maximally Effective Mercenaries”
Always love to see a 70MoMEM quote in the wild.
Lib right considers Islamism indistinguishable from Stalin.
The Bolsheviks were supported partly by Islamists.
Dude is right, that is their right.
The usual Islamic flag/Jihadist flag is white-on-black.
The Taliban flag is black-on-white and I haven’t seen any other group use the same black-on-white flag that the Taliban uses.
FWIW I don’t automatically think of crazy extremists when I see that flag just based on the design, but going around America with a 1% Muslim population is going to lead to misunderstandings.
Hopefully, someone just assumed it was a religious flag.
TIL. Thanks for sharing, seeing those images I legit thought these people were supporting of the Taliban.
They are. The above poster is just an idiot. The Taliban’s flag is the tawheed flag (better known for its unmodified usage by ISIS), except with black lettering on a white background. That is the flag the demonstrators are walking under.
