The post is missing. Other new posts seem to be present and comments are working as expected since I was able to ask a question about said post in a different thread just now: https://infosec.pub/comment/591176
Has anyone else noticed this?
EDIT: In case anyone lands here with weird missing post or comment issues. I found that to work around this you can search for the direct link for both posts and comments which will force whatever instance you are on to find and show them. Probably not a great long-term solution but it works if you just want to reply to one or two people.
Update: Searching for the post url directly seems to have made it appear but none of the comments are there.
Yes, I have noticed it with few communities, but this issue isn’t only with infosec.pub, I tried opening the community from other instance, and it was the same issue.
I looked at a communities on lemmy.world, one possible reason could be that both lemmy.world and lemmy.ml are on 0.18.1-rc, while infosec is on 0.18.0
I think you may be right, now that we are on 18.1 things seem to be working a bit better. Hopefully interoperability between minor versions will get better with time as the project grows.
