Thousands of users reported that they had major issues using the platform last weekend, including an inability to access any tweets or to post their own tweets – so, basically, everything for which one might want to use Twitter.

Wasn’t the plan all along to ‘sink’ twitter, when Elon brought a real sink into the twitter headquarter?

Elon would never ruin Twitter deliberately. Not because of any moral scruples (he has none) but because he’s got such a massive ego which is pegged to him being some kind of tech/business genius. The boring truth is just that he’s believed his own hype and now he’s out of his depth.

Honestly, I’ve become convinced that the only reason Musk bought Twitter is so that he could have full and complete control of a social network, with the goal of using it to influence public opinion, particularly within the context of elections. It was a power grab. He spent ~$40B so he could influence voters on a massive scale.

He just forgot the part where the service has to… you know… work.
