So the innocent rebel lost his job die to false accusations. Can he now sue those who jailed him and caused his undue duress for damages?

Pretty much impossible to sue the government for false imprisonment in the US. And it kinda has to be that way.

Ever spent the night in county? Ever spent a day in court listening to what these people are charged with? It’s an education.

I cannot imagine the legal clusterfuck of those people all getting a shot at claims. Most of the guys you’re sleeping with are plain losers and idiots. Cops know it, that’s why they haul you in so easy. OTOH, they really don’t want the hassle and paperwork. But one wrong word, handcuffs.

I have no words to stress this enough, Shut. The. Fuck. Up. Nothing you say will protect you. Nothing.

You can look sideways at your neighbor and get behind bars for “threats”. I’ve skirted it with my MAGA neighbor. Had a guy chase me down the creek last week, on his side. He was very careful to only yell at me, no threats made. (Also, I had a gun, so that helps with politeness when they’re twice your size and half your age.)

But THIS guy seems to have a rock and roll case. No threats, implicit or explicit. I can see the cops going after him, they have to if ordered, but the DA should have dropped this like a hot fucking rock. “We’re so sorry, don’t sue us. K thanx bye!”
