Nobody tells Shakespeare anything, because he doesn’t care. He’ll use whichever word flows best, so long as it got across the meaning. Still, fair point, I’ll shut up.
For reference
youis thou, andto youis thee.You was several words depending on where it was in the sentence. Comparable to I and me in modern English. I thought thee was you in the predicate. I’ll admit that I’m no expert and have no business correcting people on this topic, but attempted it anyway.
