    Wait, you’re saying people who are at the top of their fields get to choose where they work? The same people who don’t have to worry about working for money aren’t motivated by money?

    And other scientists and engineers work for larger companies for: stability of position, promotion through ranks, routine work that can fit around family life.

    There is nothing new under the sun.
