I’m on one of those Lemmy apps that don’t quite support gifs natively, so I’ll mention that it is a gif if you need to do something to see it.

I’m on sync but I need to open the gif to have it play as well, you seeing something else on your end?

I’m using lemmynsfw on my mobile phone browser, and since about 1 month it alwaysonly display gifs in webp format. For example, this post shows the graphic https://lemmynsfw.com/pictrs/image/266d9424-bbc0-4b84-aaf7-55053ab3ae8f.gif?format=webp which is a still image.
I literally have to long press on the image, open it, remove everything after .gif and only then I can enjoy it.
