I have been thinking about a science fiction story about an traveler from a parallel world coming here and going ‘huh wtf, why didn’t your computers create a revolution’, and then he finally figures out it is because in his universe Dijkstra got hit into an accident before he could write the ‘you should start counting at zero’ paper. By which I’m saying, blame the Dutch.
