I bet it was an orca.
History repeating itself
Unlikely if it was only one. My guess would be a sperm whale.
On the Wikipedia page is says it’s not known for sure but both are possible. Its measurements fit an sperm whale but the area it hung out wasn’t the normal spot that they would normally hang out in.
