TL;DR Not specifically the Google Pixel, the law states 40 % of the components must be Indonesian-made. Apple doesn’t meet the quota either. Indonesia is planning to become a major player in semiconductors but the article does not mention which manuacturers meet the quota already. Non-compliant phones can be imported at the corresponding tax rate so not much changes for people wishing to get Pixels, except they can’t resell them locally.
