      What has this to do with anything in the article? The article literally is only about protecting against theft, which would be considered a good thing.

        They dont understand how the feature works, they think this is a way to lock the user out of their own device as a “slippery slope” because what if google decided you stole your own phone and you couldn’t get back in.
