Cheney was always one of the most reprehensibly right-wing Congresscritters, but lots of lefties love her because she voted to impeach Donnie Trump, and she gives great lip service to the Constitution. I have enthusiastically never been in the love-Liz crowd. She’s opposed to gay rights, women’s rights, minority rights, health care rights, human rights, etc, and she doesn’t give a damn about the Constitution — she just doesn’t like Donnie.
Yeah she is a terrible person who happened to disagree with Trump taking over her shitty party. MAGA was the wrong kind of horrible for her.
I think you’re confusing lefties with liberals. It’s liberals that have terminal West Wing brain where they reach across the isle time and time again only to get screwed by the ‘moderate Republican’.
Love is different than willing to publicly acknowledge that while her former comrades showed they had no bottom, there was a low below which she would not stoop.
