Projekt Revolution 2008 Charlotte NC July 30 2008 Mike rapped the first verse of 'Hands Held High' over the Reanimated intro to 'Crawling'. Chris Cornell then joined the band for the song and sang the entire second verse, the outro, and Aaron's harmonies. Rest In Peace

Disclaimer- saw this on Reddit first, but it got me thinking that during the time of this concert (and before) I didn’t listen to much modern metal or grunge and while I thought Linkin Park and Soundgarden were very talented, it just wasn’t my style of music. It still isn’t something I usually listen to but I found this performance really great and have watched it a few times over the last couple of days. It’s awful that neither Chester Bennington or Chris Cornell are here today, but this one song performed together has me interested in revisiting the era and maybe listening more to what I missed the first time.
