Londoners spotted this ship on the Thames near Tower Bridge, playing the iconic Imperial March theme from the Star Wars trilogies, otherwise recognisable as the Darth Vader music.
But it wasn’t coming from a galaxy far, far away - it was a German Navy ship, in London for training and a supply stop.
A spokesperson from the German Navy told the BBC the music had “no deeper message” and “the commander can choose the music freely”.
Its called the “Imperial March”, Darth Vader is a badass not a host on CeeBeeBees.
Not bad, but I would have gone for the 1812 Overture, timed just so the crescendo would start as it passes by Parliament.
Maybe set the on deck water cannons in a V shape.
and who says thems Germans don’t have a sense of humor
Hmm, Disney v. Deutsche Marine should be interesting.
Awesome. Funny as hell. Wish I’d seen it in person!

Rest assured that the vast majority of us Germans living to day despises what has happened to the Jewish people. The gruesome details and why it is important that something like that shall never happen again are still being taught in school here.
I hope you can come to your senses and recognize that the German people living today are not the same that voted in and supported the politicians that enabled, and then coneviently forgot about their own role in the atrocities.
