    The first “Despicable Me” came out when I was in high school. Now I’m 30. I remember when my nephew was super into these movies as well and now he’s about to start high school.

    I’m just saying this franchise is getting a little excessive. Soon they’ll have more movies in the Minions Cinematic Universe than Star Wars has in theirs.

      I’m a bit older, so to me, my comparison was Toy Story. I was in middle school when it came out. By the time the last one was released, I had a wife and a kid. It was very surreal watching it.
