I’m officially suprisedI don’t think the NASCAR crowd will like that. But if they can do a battery exchange that’s quick enough, it’s probably doable.
I mean Formula E does about 45 minutes of racing which is about half an F1 race.
Since NASCAR breaks the race into 3 distinct stages I could see it working for an electric series where either they have X minutes to recharge or swap the battery.
From a tech development stand point it could actually benefit road cars eventually.
