Sorry, what is a skein?
It’s how yarn is usually sold in stores. It’s then turned into different forms depending on how it’s going to be used
A skein is a coil of yarn or other thread.
Anyone know how that was likely formed?
Could this be the work of a neolithic niddy noddy?
I would guess a form of drop spindle. But who knows, maybe the Niddy Noddy is older than we think!
