I was shocked when I got my name without any numbers or symbols
That was such a bad idea by wumpus. It adds nothing but confusion and anger.
I still don’t understand why people are so mad at this.
Before you were forced to have numbers in your name and now you get a choice, the numbers aren’t forced on you.
Isn’t more choice better?
Because before the numbers weren’t really part of your username, they didn’t show up in chat etc and you only really used them when trying to find a specific user. But now they will actually be part of your username and show up everywhere. You also don’t really get a choice, you’re either the first person to want your username or you’re forced to include numbers
