Russia violated Poland’s airspace early on Sunday with a cruise missile launched at targets in western Ukraine, Poland’s armed forces said.

Russia launched 57 missiles and drones on Ukraine in the early hours, including attacking Kyiv and the western region of Lviv that is near the Polish border.

While that doesn’t sound like a long time, it actually kind of is when dealing with active combat areas.

I don’t blame them for not acting fast though. Hasty actions lead to mistakes, and you really don’t want to mistake a 747 for a bomber.

That’s plenty for air defense systems.

Shooting down a cruise missile in your own airspace doesn’t start a war, it prevents the death of innocent civilians.
