    also since when are we pitting science against atheism? most scientists i know are atheists, that’s the status quo among scientists!

      I think that science is incompatible with atheism. Particularly the theories of Richard Dawkins, who created and popularised the idea that ideas are living beings, called memes. Dawkins’ theory shows that the gods of various religions are living, acting beings with agency and in some cases a lot of power. Dawkins proved that the gods are objectively real. They’re called egregores.

        No. It shows that ideas permeate through society depending on how accepted they are, and that they are therefore under pressure to conform to ideas that are already accepted in society. Like genes, just social.

        Nothing to do with gods or ideas as “living beings”.
