Everyone I talk to says, “but socialized medicine has such long wait times.” But these same fuckers avoid going to the doctor until it’s absolutely unbearable to deal with because it costs to much to find out if it’ll get better on its own. So if you’re getting symptoms of something and waiting two months anyway, how is your system better?
In the 58 years I’ve lived here, I have never waited more than a few hours to see a doctor, never more than a couple of days to see my doctor, and never more than a month to see a specialist.
Im sceptical of the people claiming that “several months” is a common experience.
