      …yes, and that’s cynicism. They don’t care about hypocrisy, so they’ll just say whatever they need to in order to win.

        A scornfully or jadedly negative comment or act. 
        

        No I don’t think that’s cynicism.

          Their “distrust of integrity” applies universally. They don’t believe anyone believes the things they say and that we’re all just saying whatever it takes to win. That’s how they justify their behavior to themselves.

          Misanthropy would also be applicable.
