Why?
&
What is it’s activist about it?

I am only curious, because I truly do not see it, as activism, more fun than anything. I am a pretty serious person, who takes why I am risking being a activist extremely serious; not that those in these things are not, just do not know.

These are excellent examples, let’s look closer at them.

    • The Royal Indian Navy mutiny involved 10,000 sailors in 56 ships and shore establishments. This show of defiance from within the worlds best navy at the time really shocked much of Britain. Soon after, negotiations happened with Gandhi. Some historians argue that without this mutiny, negotiations would have never taken place.

    • The Deacons for Defense and Justice was a Black American self-defense group. In the summer of 1965 they had violent struggles with the Ku Klux Klan.

      According to historian Annelieke Dirks:

Even Martin Luther King Jr.—the icon of nonviolence—employed armed bodyguards and had guns in his house during the early stages of the Montgomery bus boycott in 1956. Glenn Smiley, an organizer of the nonviolent and pacifist Fellowship of Reconciliation (FOR), observed during a house visit to King that the police did not allow the minister a weapon permit, but “the place is an arsenal.”[2]

    • the African National Congress started as a peaceful resistance and then decided it was no longer possible to achieve its goals peacefully. A lot of blood was spilt in the name of the ANC until their goals were achieved.

We can disagree on tactics, but let’s stay true to facts.

    • I will ask you this- over time, what peaceful organization, succeeds or fails, stays peaceful?

Even ‘The Black Panthers’ who really was just for imagine & defense, had empty shotguns, that freaked-out ‘The Rep. ‘Crazy Capitalist’ Party’s former CAPITALIST/RACEST god & then Cali. Gov. Ronald Reagan.

Racist historians! It was The Indians peaceful & long campaign. Gandhi was no way perfect, ‘Democracy Now’ educated me slept (literally, from all we know) in the same bed, with his much younger teen female relative.
Yes, what was peacefully created in South Africa, failed after the leader died & others took over, like his wife.
I recommend searching ‘Democracy Now’ & other ‘Free Speech’s shows’ websites’ archives, ‘F S’ is a Independent, no Rich-Super Rich Economic Classes’/Owners’ money allowed & almost completely Political Left media outlet, on everything that broadcasts except lamestream media channels.
