    There’s been a moratorium on executions in South Korea since 1998 (the last executions being in 1997), so this won’t happen - the alternative for a guilty conviction is life imprisonment.

        Which would mean they are moving in the wrong direction. Death penalty is a tool of totalitarism, not a characteristic of a healthy democracy.

          Eh, traitors and fascists can hang IMO. Would you have sentenced Hitler to life imprisonment? I think some deserve to hang.
          That sad I know jack about the former south korean president, so I won’t comment on if he should live or die.

            Yes. Yes I would. Hitler killed himself, he didn’t want to be captured and imprisoned. Let him rot in a little tiny cell.

            Or just give some Holocaust survivors an hour with him every day.
