Meshcore has something like chat rooms that I would love if it got ported over to meshtastic. Its very close. My family and I were able to make it work with little fuss. It was better at telling you if the message got received than meshtastic.
Theres also some bridge projects that I haven’t tested that possibly work with meshtastic on irc/discord/etc…etc… and a whole BBS project someone built out a while back.
Its a beta project that is doing fantastic bringing people over to the ham side.
I’m just waiting for BBS2 to get going on it, I sadly was a tad too young to get in on its prime, but maybe I can catch the train this time lmao
