I feel like OP, or the map maker is somewhat disingenuously leaving out the US here, given that they regularly execute people to this day. Given that fact, the somewhat near term years don’t sound that bad when looking at Belarus and Russia.
Somehow this just shows europe and enough of Russia to make it worth mentioning. India or China missing too…So I’m choking that up to american propaganda, or at least as “Russia Bad, mkay?!”

Is what I’m saying the map showing only Europe is quite selective in terms of outcome. I find any label saying its a map about Europe. ;)
