I love it! I’ve really been enjoying my meteor 75 but I’m gearing up to go analog next, thinking about an air65. Trying to do those in-place flips with the meteor 75 and the walksnail is super tough. Air65 looks like it’ll be easier to fly in my house. Trying to figure out how I want to add an analog receiver to my goggles x is not as easy as I’d hoped though 🙄

      https://caddxfpv.com/collections/others-2024/products/goggle-x-extension-board

This is the board for Google’s X. If you ordered from them they will send the board for free There’s a video on the page. With the Googles X, analogue is not quite optimal. The latency is higher than with proper analog Googles. But I never flew it like that. I have two Googles. I think 75mm is better. Almost everyone flies 75 for freestyle. The Air75 is great for the money. I just prefer 25000kv.

I did end up getting one of those boards but I didn’t want a solution that relied on tape to mount and I don’t have a 3d printer to make my own adapter. Also that board didn’t come with dvr and while it’s got the plugs for a dvr board, it’s just another unsecured piece flailing around the headset.

I found a possible solution on banggood and I ordered one, fingers crossed it’s decent, I liked how easy it was to lock on or remove the module setup with the modified top plate and case. https://www.banggood.com/URUAV-AV-IN-Modification-Kit-with-5_8G-RX-PORT-V3_0-V3_0-PLUS-Digital-to-Analog-Receiver-Board-Adapter-Metal-Mounting-Case-Combo-for-Walksnail-GOGGLES-X-p-2008320.html

I didn’t really care about the adapter board that came with it but I figured between the “official” one and the one that comes with the kit I would have plenty of options. It looks big enough for me to stick a runcam dvr board in there somewhere so I ordered that too https://shop.runcam.com/runcam-mini-fpv-dvr/

Now I just need to pick a module, I know everyone recommends the crossfire or fusion modules but I was hoping for something cheaper, I just want to fly my tinywhoops around the house yknow. 😄 I like the air57 too and I hope to get one someday but since I already kinda had a 75mm class whoop I was looking forward to the superlite/supersmall air65. I can see myself getting into building them eventually but the price is so good on the bind’n’flys right now I was just going to save the effort and start with those.

Thanks for all the advice, I really appreciate, I still have lots to learn!
